It gives me immense satisfaction to reflect on the journey of our institutions. The Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital (JIMSH), Budge Budge, with its 1050-bedded teaching hospital and 200-seat MBBS college, along with Nursing, Paramedical, and Pharmacy programs, has established itself as a trusted name in healthcare and education in West Bengal. This legacy of academic excellence and compassionate service is the solid foundation upon which we are building our next milestone.
The creation of the Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital – North Kolkata (JIMSH North Kolkata) marks an exciting new chapter. Strategically located in Sodepur, just minutes from the airport, this institution is envisioned to become a center of excellence with 450 beds operational today and a master plan for 1200 beds, super-speciality services, and advanced medical programs.
I extend my heartfelt good wishes to our students, who are the torchbearers of knowledge; our faculty, whose dedication sustains our mission; and our patients, who remain at the heart of everything we do.
