MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery
The 5.5-year MBBS programme provides comprehensive training across Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, and Clinical disciplines—from Anatomy and Physiology to Medicine and Surgery—equipping aspiring doctors with strong theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and clinical competence to manage diverse medical conditions and emergencies.

Four and a half academic years plus one year of compulsory internship.

Qualifying Criteria
Admission of candidates is based on the centralized online allotment list published in the Medical Counselling Committee’s (MCC) website. NEET UG qualified candidates (both General and NRI category) who have been allotted to Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital – North Kolkata by the MCC, New Delhi are eligible to report for admissions.
